Cancellations & Refunds

📌 Introduction

Once a traveler accepts a Bid and completes payment, the booking becomes final and non-cancellable. This rule ensures that the Bid System remains reliable and prevents abuse.

🚫 Cancellation by Travelers

- No cancellations are allowed after payment.

- Refunds are not provided unless required by law or in special cases handled by Optibide Support.

⚠️ Cancellation by Hotels

  1. Hotels must honor all confirmed bids.
  2. If a hotel fails to provide the booked room, Optibide may:

- Relocate the traveler to a similar hotel.

- Issue a refund (handled by Optibide, not the hotel).

- Apply penalties, including suspension of the hotel’s bidding privileges.

💳 Refund Process

- Refunds are only possible if the hotel cancels or fails to honor the booking.

- Refunds will be processed via the traveler’s original payment method.

- Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider (typically 5–10 business days).
